What we collect

If you sign in we keep your email address, the language you last used, and (only if you link it) your Telegram chat ID. If you turn on browser notifications we keep, for each device, the address your browser’s push service gave us and its encryption keys, plus a short name for the device. If you use the features we keep what you create: alerts, favorites and their target prices, your shopping list, any reports you send about a deal (so we can check them), and a log of which alerts we sent you (to avoid sending the same one twice). If you tick “Weekly best buys” we also keep that choice and the week we last emailed you. We do not use passwords. Browsing the site without an account stores nothing about you beyond ordinary server logs.

Why we use it

Only to run the service you asked for: sign you in, send the alerts and digests you set up, and show your favorites and list. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Who else sees it

Your email provider and our mail server handle the emails we send you. If you link Telegram, Telegram delivers the messages. If you turn on browser notifications, your browser’s push service (for example Google, Mozilla or Apple) delivers them and sees that a notification was sent to your device, but the content is encrypted so only your browser can read it. When a page shows a product photo, your browser loads it directly from the merchant’s own website, so that merchant can see your IP address; set a merchant’s photos off by asking us, or disable images in your browser. A shopping list you choose to share is readable by anyone who has its link until you switch sharing off.

Cookies

We use a session cookie and a security (CSRF) cookie so you can stay signed in and submit forms safely. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept until you delete your account. Logs of sent alerts are deleted after about 180 days, and expired sign-in links are deleted within a day.

Your choices

You can download everything we hold about you, change your email address, stop any alert from the link in its email or message, and delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleting your account removes your alerts, favorites, list, sent-alert log and sign-in data.
